Is there popcorn in China?

Well, I've pretty much finished reading the 35 page Travel Guide that the agency provided. So, we have to bring gifts for different officials in China. I had already thought of Indy 500 paraphenilia (thanks, BH) and purchased a couple of hats. But, what about popcorn? Indiana is the nation's top popcorn producer and we have friends nearby that produce great popcorn http://www.selectpopcorn.com/ . Do you think the Chinese would know how to pop it? I think it would be a great "homegrown" gift. Anyone have any better ideas?

Travel is coming up in less than a week! Our travel group had a great conference call today to iron out a few items. Nothing major. There are 12 families in our group. We will meet in Beijing initially, then travel to our individual provinces to meet our children. At the end of the trip, we will travel to Guangzhou to take care of items at the U.S. Consulate.

Here is our travel itinerary:
18 Jun: depart Cincinnati/Detroit/Tokyo/Beijing arrive on 19Jun
22Jun: Beijing to Nanning
23Jun: Gotcha day! We meet Lara FengZhu at the Civil Affairs Bureau
27Jun: Nanning to Guangzhou
1Jul: Take group oath at U.S. Consulate and pick up Lara's visa
2Jul: depart Guangzhou/Tokyo/Detroit/Cincinnati arrive 6:25pm

Sorry to be skipping around with this post. Here is the latest photo! Isn't she cute? Love the outfit and no more "Pebble's" hair. Her latest measurements are 96cm (38") and 14.5kg (32lbs). She still is not smiling. We need her to smile :) We had this photo enlarged to 8x10" and now is on the entertainment center with the boys' photos. Lara FengZhu fits right in!
The boys are getting excited about having another child in the home. They are moving toys in the toyroom to make room for 'girl' toys. I'm happy that they are willing to share so readily. They have been great little secret keepers through this entire process, but now want to tell everyone about their sister. I am very proud of them!

Congratulations!!!
Your daughter/sister is beautiful. I am sure she will be smiling as soon as she see you all.

What a wonderful way to make your family happier.
